OrbEvent

Post by countryatheart »

Jay, I have a question about your latest OrbEvent. When I ran it a box opens with what looks like a key pad at the top that doesn’t do anything when I click on the numbers, there are values below it showing the movement of the SpaceOrb. I’m guessing this is a tool for you to track the behavior of the SpaceOrb. If so, how does it send the info it collects?

Hi Jay,
I did resolve my OrbEvent problem by deleting the AntiSpyware I was using and installed Microsoft AntiSpyware.

I moved the OrbEvent from the Spaceware folder (Where Web Update installed it) to my desktop and I tested the OrbEvent test version with the “Don’t send events” box checked as you suggested. The following are the results;

Numbered boxes did light up while pressing the corresponding SpaceOrb buttons.

My raw axis values are;

Orb Still Max Movement
32767 0 - 65342
32767 0 - 65342
32767 0 - 65342
32767 0 - 65342
32703 0 - 65342
32767 0 - 65342

The Mouse X & Y step values;

Mouse X; Still 0 Max Movement - 65 to 65

Mouse Y; Still 0 Max Movement - 52 to 65

Thank you for the new OrbEvent version 0.0.0.43. When Web update installed the test version in my Spaceware folder it over wrote the old one. Now all is ok again...I hope :?

Don,
If you’re using Internet Explorer try Mozilla Firefox browser, it is great! Firefox is free and you can grab it at http://www.mozilla.com. It is more secure on the internet and you can adjust the font sizes as needed. My resolution is 1600x1200 pixels and can see Jay’s message board without any trouble.
