Re: Slightly back in stock 20190720 at tindie store

Hey, Das-- sorry for the month-old reply but as you've noted this board doesn't move super fast. Will send you a PM so you get the note but replying here in case others want to see it. Truth is, despite some incredible delays (toddler, wordwide pandemic, civil unrest as we live 1.5 miles from where ...

Slightly back in stock 20190720 at tindie store

OK, sorry for the long long pause between batches; that whole baby thing takes a tremendous toll on any free time. We have five more (we make 8 at a time and some don't turn out or need more rework). A pity that the production is soooo slooooow; I'm proud to say that we were featured on Scott Hansel...

Re: Back in Stock (20180819)

Flauzus:

My fault. I've got a huge new batch of bare PCBs and need to order components and find a couple hours on a weekend (this is nontrivial with a new kiddo :) ). The next couple weeks are a bit nuts with business travel for my wife and I, but we'll do our best to get back on it.

Re: OrbShield problems in Windows 10

Hey, Sparky--sorry it took me a couple days to notice this. My worry on this sort of thing, if the reset button fixes it for a period, is that actually it may be the orb itself having trouble... the old Orbshield in particular didn't even interact with the reset button for any sort of settings (I th...

Back in Stock (20180819)

SORRY for the delays. 8 more are in stock and I'll start the pipeline again for another build and more boards. Whew; sorry it took so long! Turns out having a baby takes a lot out of every part of your life. I tried Forsaken Remastered from Steam, but unfortunately it doesn't support control remappi...

Re: Back in stock (20180305)

Martin: OK, this is embarassing... I actually thought that had been done, and I've been so heads-down with baby that I haven't even looked at this board in a while. Martin, I got your email; I'm so sorry for the delays. So minor updates: just made a new batch, and I should have 8 more for sale by th...

Re: Back in stock (20180305)

New firmware! The old "BasicJoystick" was good, but it required people to install Arduino, drivers, and learn to program just to turn off chording or set gain/sensitivity. So I've taken advantage of the much greater memory of the SAMD21 and now offer real-time configuration of a few settings using t...

Re: Back in stock (20180305)

...and by the way, that "let me know if you want preprogramming" counts if you have one of the desktop models... ...and if you didn't know, yes, the Orbotron works with the old desktop serial Spaceballs like the SpaceBall4000FLX, the 5000FLX, and the Magellan SpaceMouse! And I will say this--you run...

Yes, we have a few in stock! https://store.thingotron.com AAAA A MONTH LATE I'M A HORRIBLE HUMAN! :) Okay, SUPER sorry for the delays; I had a couple business trips and while back... well, this isn't exactly an excuse, but we're almost to the 9th month of my wife's pregnancy which means she doesn't ...

Re: Back in stock (20180305)

Greezon: Sorry about that--what's happened is we moved, and everything's still disorganized. I still can't find my favorite soldering iron, and I've lost some of the equipment and parts. We were able to cobble together about 8 a few weeks ago--a small batch, more to say "well, I guess we need to ord...

Back in stock (20180305)

After a prolonged absence and interstate move... well, I still haven't found all the tools and such, but at least we made a small batch of Orbotrons yesterday and they all tested good, so there's a little stock left and we should be able to keep them going now! Re: By the way, Jay's awesome

Sounds good (I was having some trouble with a couple in my outbox sitting there, but I think it was a space issue). Offer stays open though :)

(not sure if the PM worked, Jay... it's sitting in my outbox, but seriously I'd like to donate).

By the way, Jay's awesome

Hey, random shout-out and deep thanks here. As you probably noticed in the past few days (see his message), his system got hit by a ransomware virus, and it's sure not worth $1000 to restore a couple months of SpaceOrb posts. But I wanted to really call him out--Jay's been hosting the spaceorb board...
