New Descent II Driver for the SpaceOrb 360

Installation Instructions...







For w95 SpaceWare 4.7:

1) Copy the new config file 'descent2.scg' to the 



'spcware\defaults' or

'<user defined dir>\defaults' directory.



2) Copy the file 'Spaceorb.plr' to the root of your spaceware directory.



3) Open the file games.ini (in the root of your spaceware) with your favorite text editor.



4) Go to end of the file and add this new entry:



[GameXX]

GameTitle = Descent II

GameExe = Descent II Win95.exe

GameScg = Descent2.scg

NewGame = 0

File1 = Spaceorb.plr



Note: XX is the number of the previous entry plus 1.  e.g. If the last

entry was '[Game33]' then this new entry would be '[Game34]'









For w95 SpaceWare 4.0.x: (4.01, 4.03, 4.06)

1) Copy the file 'descent2.scg' to the 



'program files\spaceware\spaceorb\program' 



directory (or the 'program' directory under the root of your spaceorb directory).



2) Copy the file 'Spaceorb.plr' to the root of your spaceorb directory.



3) Open the file winsetup.cfg (in the root of your spaceorb) with your favorite text editor.



4) Go to the end of the file, and add the following entry:



[Descent II Win95]

GameTitle = "Descent II Win95"

GameExe   = "Descent II Win95.exe"

GameScg   = "Descent2.scg"

FilesToGame = {

   "spaceorb.plr",

   }







DOS

All versions of DOS SpaceOrb have Descent II already. Just have to add

it using the DOS Game Launcher.
